Frequently Asked Questions

Can my child go in a group lesson to start?: No, for their safety they need to start with a private lesson. All students starting in our school are required to start in private lessons and can graduate to group lessons (see below) once the student can:

-Steer and keep the horse on the rail
-Posting at the trot
-Keep the horse trotting on their own
How old does my child need to be to start lessons?: Safety first! Children need to be at least 6 years old to begin lessons. We offer pony rides for those that can't wait! Please text/call Becky for details.
Do you offer jumping lessons?: No, for the safety of our horses, they do not jump.
Can my child gallop their horse?: No, for the safety of our horses and your child, they will not be permitted to gallop.
