Welcome to Rancho El Camino Childrens Riding School

Hi there and welcome to the REC family. The REC school has been in business for over 20 years teaching children of all ages the joy of a partnership with horses. 

We strive to give children a relaxed environment with the horses. It is important to show children the special relationship that can blossom between themselves and the horses with a little care, trust, and love.

Children learn compassion, responsibility, correct form and the finesse it takes to ride these beautiful animals. Our riding school will teach your child the fundamentals to reach whatever goal they may have.  We have many children that stick with us through the years however if your child has the drive to take their riding career even further we can help guide you to the proper channels.

 At Rancho El Camino, your son or daughter will learn how to interact with and care for these amazing creatures. They will be taught grooming, how to saddle a horse, and become proficient in the saddle. They will also be exposed to different horses and learn how each one has their own unique personality.

As an added bonus, Rancho El Camino Childrens Riding School offers summer camps, birthday parties and girl scout troops providing additional opportunities for your child to enjoy and practice their horseback riding skills.

We invite you to visit our school and see our horses. We are conveniently located in Del Mar off Old El Camino Real. Instructors are always available to welcome you and answer your questions. We love sharing the joy of horseback riding!
